I am always intrigued by Villanelles thought process, she literally changed her entire life and a job that she enjoyed around to see this woman whom she met once again, and like just incase Eve didnt connect the murders, she just kept sending gifts related to murders just to be like “Hey here I know your struggling with the case, I have something for you, see I really did murder him” and then she basically just went okay Eve was pretty nice to me when I was at her house but what can I do to repay that “Ah Shepards Pie, time to torture her husband”
And yet shes always happily shocked whenever eve showed up like that wasnt the primary reason for the murder
And then imagine being the investigative officer having to explain things to the general public like
“Sir, sir what could have motivated such a horrible crime”
“Right now our strongest motive is basically that this random assassin we dont really know anything about wanted to get her girlfriends attention”
“Oh so it’s a Yandere situation”
“Nah, shes not killing to fight of other potential partners, she just kinda showing off?”
